Retculated Foam

Reticulated foam is a highly porous material with 100% open cells, created through a thermal reticulation process. Foam blocks are placed inside a high-pressure reticulation chamber, where they are treated with gas to achieve different PPI (pores per linear inch) based on customer requirements.
This foam is available in both ester-based and ether-based variants, each offering distinct advantages:
Ester-based reticulated foam is resistant to petroleum products, making it ideal for filtering and mopping up oils and fuels. In automotive applications, ester-based foam filters offer superior efficiency, longer life, and reusability compared to traditional paper filters.
Ether-based reticulated foam is water-resistant, making it suitable for water filtration applications.
